5. Mix Analysis- Looking at different genres and analyzing approaches to each  regarding  the mixing process.

6. Mixing With Examples/Mix Assignment - Using sessions to utilize the skills we’ve learned thus far

7. How your Mix Serves the Song - Aesthetics of Mixing

8. Getting Ready for Mastering and Understanding The Mastering Process

Expanding on the foundational  concepts in our Level 1 Course, we will go in depth into the mixing process in this Logic Level 2 Course. Learn tips & tricks on how to make your mixes shine and get closer to a releasable track. Using parallel compression,  using Flex Pitch & Time, Multi-Band Compression, Modulation Plugins, Automation on Plug Ins…..and more!!

1. Demystifying Compression - A common mistake made by many….overcompression and sometimes under compression. We’ll dive deep on this one!

2. Reverbs & Delays - expanding on the different types of Delays and Reverbs and looking at analog emulations.

6. Mixing & Eq on acoustic instruments

This Level 3 Mixing Course is the final level in our Silver Mixing Platform that will be very exciting in that it will involve Mentorship Consultation . Professional Producers & Mixers working  in the Music Industry will be providing one on one consultation on mixing, offering advice and direction based on tried and true professional experience. A big part of this course will be assignment based. Students will be mixing their own songs and will also receive multi tracks to mix as projects prior to mastering.

1. The Final Mix - mix ‘delivery’ what mixes to send for mastering. TV Mixes, Acapellas etc...

2. In depth Advanced  Automation - Plugins, Vocals, etc.

3. Understanding Mastering - We’ll look at what a mastering engineer will do to your final mix and do our own mastering.

4.  Assignments - Most of this level will be assignment based. Students will be mixing their own songs and getting constructive criticism and advise from mentors and the instructor

5. Solving Mix Issues - what happens if a kick drum or guitar didn’t get tracked/recorded in the best way….we’ll look at sound replacing with samples.

6. The Vocal -  the real star of the mix is the vocal! We’ll look at advanced vocal processing techniques - some standard esoteric approaches used by other producers like using distortion and parallel compression

7. Mixing Mentors - we have a revolving list of mixing mentors that will be offering advice and input on your mix that will be both constructive and enlightening! Tips & Tricks abound!
