Songwriting/Music Theory & Vocal Production Weekly Summer Camp

This weekly* Songwriting, Music Theory & Vocal Production Summer Camp is designed for beginning and novice songwriters who want to develop their creative voice and musical foundation. Throughout the week, students will learn the fundamentals of songwriting—melody, lyrics, harmony, chord progressions, and song structure—while also exploring the basics of music theory in a fun and supportive environment.

Camp sessions run Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a 20-minute break each day. In addition to songwriting and theory, students will be introduced to the basics of vocal production, including vocal arrangement, microphone technique, recording basics, and how to enhance vocals using simple effects and editing tools.

The camp also includes discussions about the business of songwriting, covering topics like publishing, copyright, and licensing, giving students a well-rounded introduction to both the creative and professional sides of being a songwriter.

No prior experience is necessary—just bring your voice, your ideas, and your love for music!
